Yea it looks like she is cooperating with investigators. She’ll be testifying. She flipped.

Porktown Do you think Biden will climb into the cockpit of a Navy fighter jet with a “Mission accomplished” banner in the background? I’m guessing if Trump were (not robbed of being POTUS), he would. Then have a military parade in DC.
The White House did it one better by posting a pic on Instagram of Dementia Joe with US special ops forces in Israel and blew their cover. Only a couple hundred thousand views before they deleted it an hour later. No big deal. Didn't someone close to Dementia Joe once say something like, "Never doubt Joe's ability to F things up."

This ones sweet. Her sheer arrogance (ignorance) alone made her extremely irritating to even watch. Justice served.

Has anyone heard the audio recording of a voice-mail some piece of garbage, Jim Jordan supporter, sent to the wife of a Congressman that voted No on Jordan? I hope they find the man that left that message on this woman's phone and throw him in jail. Absolutely disgusting. What would any of you cultists do if some whacko left a message for your wife like that? Excerise your 2A right I'd imagine🙄

So I listened to the call in a clip from CNN. Pretty wild. Wannabe Tony Soprano shiit.
So now Jim Jordan is back in it I guess? And mcHenry threatened to quit because they might make him try to do things that he isn’t allowed to do according to House rules?
I don’t even know, I can’t keep track. It’s just idiocy and chaos.
I will say I’m impressed that some moderate house republicans refused to cave to the MAGA pressure to put the gavel in Jordan’s hand. Although I guess it could still happen? I think there’s a vote today?

Is it possible that this is the "suspension of the constitution" that the former guy threatened? The MAGA-ites have effectively eliminated one of the three legs of our Republic by rendering Congress non-functional. They don't want to govern, so they don't. What they're doing is clearly unconstitutional. I'm wondering if they couldn't be sued by ordinary citizens to force compliance. Whatever it is, Comrade Putin is pleased, you can be sure.

The MAGA cult doesn't have the intelligence to realize their tactics are counter-productive to their goal. The younger generation voters will eventually bury the GOP. I have always thought Trump was the best thing to ever happen to the Democratic party.

Right - I get all that. But I asked Conservatives what their take is on the current issue of Speaker in Congress, in the GOP. What's your take? We all see the same news - we all know whats going on. As a Conservative leaning poster (I think), I'm genuinely curious about your thoughts on it?

The guy on a fishing message board that can barely string together a compete sentence wants to talk about the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Ok, here’s a spicy take: killing innocent people and non-combatants is indefensible. Period. Whether it’s Hamas, or Netanyahu, or Al Queada, or anybody… it’s simply indefensible, This conflict is complicated. And I’m not even gonna pretend to fully understand it. But I know that killing begets more killing. And I don’t really care to hear a bunch of half baked takes from either the left or the right.

On the House Speaker question, with Jordan being shot down 3 consecutive times, missing each time by more and more votes, it's definitely time for him to concede to the inevitable and go back to chairing the Judicial Oversite committee. I truly believe that a Speaker, regardless of who it may be, will not be elected without the help of a few 'Crats. 4 new candidates have thrown their hats into the ring, and I still think Byron Donald would do well as Speaker, but there again; too conservative, too right wing. Plain truth is that too many in the party are acting like spoiled brats with their "my way or the highway" attitudes. Steve Scalise would have served well but was torpedoed by Jordan, and bailed the next day. No will to fight what still would have turned out to be another McCarthy type fight, plus the fact that even if he had been chosen, how long could he serve, having been diagnosed with the big C. If he couldn't recover, we'd still be going through this again in maybe another year should the Pubs hold the majority. On Gaza, the unprecidented Hamas attacks in 5 different places, with the indiscriminant murders and butchery was Israel's 911. Now Israel has sworn to totally eradicate Hamas, and I agree with that decision. Hamas, and Hezbollah, have historically been the first to break every cease fire and detent agreements when Israel offered them the olive branch. Remember what President Bush said about terrorists after 911; that we would hunt down and eliminate every responsible bad actor. Feel bad for the Palestinians? Yeah. but the majority of Palestinians do not support Hamas terror. The Paletinian Authority no longer has any sway even though they are the recognized government by the world. Yet if their problem is an Arab problem, why has no other Muslim country offered them sanctuary. Fact is, those other countries not only closed their borders asylum seekers, they sealed the borders. Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, (another Hamas and Hezbollah sactuary), Saudi Arabia, Iran & Iraq. Money that Biden wants to give to the Palestinians in humanatarian aid will never make it to the people; it'll just finance more Hamas terror.
Whenever you want to know what the Democrats are up to, watch what they accuse the other side of doing.

The Speaker situation draws an interesting dichotomy and distinction between how the two parties operate differently.
To get votes for Speaker, the DNC trades campaign cash for votes — vote for “X person” or your campaign money from the DNC is cut off and they will fund someone in the primary in opposition.
To get votes for Speaker, the RNC trades getting your favored legislation (even way out there stuff) to the floor and attempt to gain enough support to get it passed. Don’t want to take my ideas further, no vote for you as Speaker.
The DNC is trading a vote for something and the RNC is withhold a vote for something. I’m not suggesting either is right or ethical, but in the ever ongoing battle between dollars vs. ideas, cold hard cash wins every time.
The poster formally known as Duncsdad Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.
