We have got one 10minute shower in 2 weeks. The stuff in the ground is doing Ok but struggling. I cannot transplant anything else for fear of it dying

Looking mighty dry out there lately.
Streams in northern and southern N.Y. are low. My clay ground is hard.
Do a little rain dance for tomorrow and Thursday Jack. I'm heading back fishing and need some h20 flow

The big wind was about a month ago-still hearing chain saws and chippers regularly from my yard.
One friend cant even get his two large dumpsters of storm related building debris cleaned out as the place that takes them is full.
Tree service trucks passing by constantly and roads having temporary  closures due to secondary cleanup issues  with chippers, heavy equipment and dump trucks in the way.
Heard FEMA was in the area South of me lately looking it over.
Guess my immediate area with moderate damage was VERY lucky.

Here comes the rain. Pretty heavy . Hopefully the wind won't kick in

Like the past rain events in my area it all went west,south,or everywhere but here.Got enough to settle the dust but that does n't help the streams and rivers.

All those who have mowed their grass often and short now have brown lawns. Mine is still green only because I hate mowing.
As I drove home last night, everywhere was brown.
It looks like possibly some rain tonight and into tomorrow.
I have to water my garden daily .

Dad-burned system thinks it's a merry-go-round, just whirling around, bringing the rain in waves of heavy downpours, including lightening and thunder bumpers.

Would love to send the rain yinz way but I think, it's all laying in my back yard and I'd have to package it in buckets. But I'll send what I can via "airmail", watch the sky. lol

Good news, at least, for me. Weather dude forecasting lots of sunshine coming and the temps bouncing around in the 90s, by weeks end.

Latest weather alert just updated 6:11 AM this day for Western Penn's Woods. Today will be stellar with possible thunderstorms, some possibly producing high winds and heavy down pours, expected from late tonight through Thursday morning.

Temp to approach high 80s beginning Thursday with 90s to the north and one hundred south of I-80, through the weekend.

Spectacular day . Not a cloud in the sky. Waiting on tide to shift then going to bake in the sun and salt.
My knees got the funk going . Itchy as heck. Must be all those clams chewing on them, I will get revenge when I chew them :)
