Nice! What dreams are made of ,tuna I'm still waiting 😑, rainy day tomorrow so I'm going for as long as I can manage . Hope the rain stays moderate and no downpours, should be great for deer movement I figured I'd be stuck mostly only hunting rain days, so I bought some gear for it it's nice being warm and dry makes these hunts bearable. Tracking is definitely not ideal but gotta hunt this time change is gonna screw me ....cough cough 😂😂

I'd rather be lucky then good, but im to good to be lucky

Why can’t I upload jpegs? And why 800kb? Guess you guys won’t be seeing my pics.. this is big Tunas son.. trying to do this from my phone.

I stopped coming on this site maybe 6 years ago now. And I stopped trolling chat forums about hunting. Plus Saying pics or it didn’t happen lol. Might be just a razz... but I do not need anyone’s approval cuz I don’t have a picture post. 🤷‍♂️💁🏻‍♂️

I have an iPhone 6 I can’t find the way to downsize them. It saves them as jpeg format.

Open with Photos, do an edit to resize/crop (as recommended by Mopars) then save the new pic.

Jpeg format is accepted but size does matter. You may have to "crop" several times. till you hit the sweet spot.

If you don't have photos, open with gallery.

Most forgot, 3 pics to a page on average.

Yeah I have resized a few times... I have it set in taking a “large” image. But when it fails to upload it says jpeg format still. I can’t crop it any smaller... even took a screen shot of the imagine and that’s still too big.

Dang..... says JPG supported not JPEG.... My bad.

Can you save to JPG file and if not would you like to email a few pics and have them posted on your behalf.

Many of us do enjoy seeing the success of our fellow hunters and Want to hear the story. It's the hunt that counts.👍

Re: Archery season 2018 2018/10/27 13:06:59 (permalink)
Yeah I had to save them off my fb post cuz they decompressed them. That’s the only way I could figure it out how to get them smaller without opening up adobe photo shop... and being in there for 24 hours...

Ah not much of a story! Been hunting a fair amount. This is a newer area few years hunting there. This year went in... saw a buck almost every night and got to know a few.... I think it was two days before? I noticed a big track in the mud. Said to myself that’s s big deer track. Not what I’ve been seeing... so the night before 24th, kids were playing in my woods and spooked some deer. Right before dark...a known 5 pt was messing with a doe right underneath me. so I went back in the next day hoping no one would be running around person wise... got in my up in my tree ready by 4:30 ish... prior walking in kicked some does up that didn’t go far. so 5:30 came I saw a fawn. And I went humph a fawn doe. Mean while i was blind grunting quite a bit Soo threw some more grunts...ten minutes go by I heard crunch crunch crunch behind me and I’m like crap that’s a deer, I turned so faster to my left then I wanted with my head and was grabbing my bow at the same time. He was 35 yards away and I went @#%!... he sorta saw me turn.. then the wind went to him and I’m still sitting holding my breath still as ever now just going no no no no no... I didn’t know what he was yet too... just saw a wide frame.. so he started to circle behind me and when I could I stood up.. did a 180. And he started slowly walking trying to circle downwind at the time but it had changed going in my favor again like it was all Evening. Meanwhile I got a chance toglass him and knew what I kinda was seeing lol... so got my “stuff” together. And just said please don’t turn and walk straight away. And he made an angle that I’ll never forget cuz I said in my head,(me thinking about shooting lanes and chances) “if you come that way...omg you’re coming that way...”. So I timed my window.. came to draw and he stoppped and posed like tv... buried the pin. Let it fly. Lost my “stuff”after i saw him run lol. He ran He stopped. Then took off out of site and I got nervous. Questioned my shot...But after I waited got down found blood and my arrow I got more confident I didn’t hit him back as I thought for a moment..... It was about 26-27 yards. He only ran maybe 60-75 yards but died in green grass. Right where I saw him stop he took like 4 big hops basically to the green and died. Just could hear the spin out or see him so got a bit nervous thinking about to ... so when I found him I lost it emotionally lol

OMG Josh, there aint an archer reading your story that don't know, and can't deny, what you were feeling.

From the time of dealing with people in the area, spooking the Doe, hearing the approach, being caught, hoping for a perfect shot, the release, checking the arrow, hearing the crash, finding the trophy and last but not least, losing it. All too real neighbor, all too real.

Your story had the hair standing up on my arms. BTDT
