If you want meat, shoot a doe.

Or is there more of a macho mentality at work for some people that they have to shoot a buck, no matter how small.  That a buck is better than a doe.  C'mon now, fess up!

There are hunters out there that wont shoot doe,me included!I walked up on wounded doe once when I was younger and it was blatting.Felt so bad having to finish it off, will never pull the trigger on another one again.....

If I wanted meat I shot smaller buck,or bigger ones if they showed themeselves. Now there is neither in PA!!!!!

I will stay in NY where you can actually hold out/pass up smaller buck for a bigger one.You dont see any NY threads complaing about the herd do ya????
