Alright everyone believe BIGSLICK tRuST mE..wait wait I'll tell you guys when they come so don't come until then. Your right bigslick, so everyone don't get excited about it and stay outta the area creeks for a few more weeks for a few more weeks. Haha dudes if you really want steelies that you can get from shore get out and look. I'm not telling people where to get them I promised I wouldn't. You can listen to him or go out search and hope to find a small pool of fish. In the meantime I know where I'll be next weekend. Wading in the creeks with my spinning rod and some small flies and some spoons to cast at the tips of creeks

Thanks for keeping everyone updated...I'm sure they appreciate it...Let everyone know when the Yankee fly can be casted with success.....

I enjoy finding a creek with a dozen or two fish and having it to myself for the day and contating on a fish at a time throwing prentations infront of them trying to intice a bite

...and then burning the place worse than the herp when you get online that night?

We dont need any more green guys fishing for steelies - there are already too many who like to throw spinners over everyone's line. Try native brook trout streams or the Allegheny.

Steelies are a green guys fish, tons of em and easy to catch. If you don't like the guys throwin spinners why don't you go fish for natives.

Dude almost everyone knows the steelies don't bite spinners spoons in the creek. Lemme guess your one of those guys throwing lil cleos in the creek and saying "he's fare hooked" when you snagged them by the mouth

The only place the fish bite spiiners/ spoons are really deep holes or the creek mouth or the piers but don't tell me they grab your spinners in clear low water or during a blizzard because I know thats BS unless its deep water

Snaggers snag fish, not lures.

I've caught plenty of steel on cleos in low clear water, in high muddy water, in blizzards and sunshine. Just cause you can't do it doesn't mean another can't.

I've caught plenty of steelies on spoons spinners i just don't use them in the creeks because in most cases you get alot of snags. And it annoys other fishermen

I catch them on buzzbaits and hula poppers.

...I like to use my perch rigs. 3 hooks are better than 1.....
and the big sinker keeps the dang current from taking my bait downstream.

It does not annoy me. I don't care what someone uses as long as it is:

1.) Legal
2.) Not jamming me (or others) up
3.) They're not using it to snag/lift/kmp-style "hook" a fish
