Hey don't listen to them dude there just tryin to bust your chops. In the meantime I'll PM you when the steelies start coming into the channel hopefully its like last year and the steelies and catfish are there at the same time. That way you can use to rods, one rigged up with bait for catfish and one with big silver spoons to cast with from the pier for steelies

KMP,

Have the grayling moved into the tribs yet? Let me know. Thanks.

Nope but brown trout fishing is still pretty good in walnut its just no one wants to get over and try it. I'm just waiting for the catfish run to start. I've been experimenting with pre-rigged bassworms and those things catch bass!

I was in girard yesterday to see what was in the creek.  I only had 25 minutes to fish, but I was able to catch 687 brown trout all 10 lbs or bigger.  I'll post pics when I can get them off my cellphone.

Yes, I have three of them, just in case I max out the other two counters while I'm snagging...I mean lifting...I actually mean fishing...

Cold has it correct...Although I was not using it in a traditional method...I got these huge Treble hooks that I bought at Sportsman's warehouse when they went out of business (Yes Sportsmen's went out of Business).  Anyways, I put blue powerbait down on the hooks and then weight them down and drag them through the holes.  Fish love this technique so much that most of them try and eat it with their stomachs.  I think its because my fishing technique is so awesome they want to bypass the whole eating process and get it to their stomachs as fast as possible.  If anyone wants any minute by minute updates on all the fishing spots I ride my bike too, I am starting a new fishing website where it is totally legal to spotburn!

If someone wanted to spend ALOT of time, do ALOT of walking, and ALOT of work they'd likely find a Steelie, AND a Brown or two. MUCH farther upstream, than most would believe, or admit.

But that means your fishing not catching. I enjoy finding a creek with a dozen or two fish and having it to myself for the day and contating on a fish at a time throwing prentations infront of them trying to intice a bite

Yeah I'm to excited for steelhead fishing next weekend I'm gonna fish long and hard and see if I can fish out a chrome or two. I have no doubt early morning and evenings you can get them casting spoons at the piers. I know where a few are but I'm not giving my spots up I worked hard to find them! Do searching and you'll find em.

Dude are you crazy? I looked at several creeks and was glad about what i saw. The only creek I'll give away is garison run right next to east avenue. Thats because if you get caught fishing there you'll be prosecuted. I looked down the other day and say a dozen fish or so cruising. If you try for them good luck. Either way get out and search. I'm not spot burning this year, plus that wasn't a spot burn because its not even legal to fish there

What happened to your Website of Where/When to fish and what to use?   I know where some steel are, but they are not in 4' of water...Maybe add 100FOW to that and you might find them....They aren't in the creeks.....tRuST mEe

Alright everyone believe BIGSLICK tRuST mE..wait wait I'll tell you guys when they come so don't come until then. Your right bigslick, so everyone don't get excited about it and stay outta the area creeks for a few more weeks for a few more weeks. Haha dudes if you really want steelies that you can get from shore get out and look. I'm not telling people where to get them I promised I wouldn't. You can listen to him or go out search and hope to find a small pool of fish. In the meantime I know where I'll be next weekend. Wading in the creeks with my spinning rod and some small flies and some spoons to cast at the tips of creeks
