We certainly can't be in any low water tables here. It finally stopped raining about 10 am today. The sun is out and it's unbearable humid, probably another rain deluge coming later. Have to wear muck boots to go outside and my grass is a hay field.

Well there is no drought here, all creeks, rivers, springs are flowing high and out of their banks. It looks like we will be dry for a couple days so now I have to mow the grass that is growing very fast, next to moving snow mowing is very low on my hit parade.

Fertilized front half of the yard 3 weeks ago. Mowed last time a couple of days before going to the Cape for a week. Just got back. Hope to be able to mow without hiring somebody with a brush hog. Figure will take hours as the bagger will fill constantly.

Fishing sucks. Only chance for me is pike fishing in the marshes off Champlain, but I can't get the time for the drive. Can't get to the coast , either. On another note- Any suggestions for a few days in Sept. while the shores camping still has reservations available? I'm thinking 3rd week? I'm guessing tons of people this year. I had a great time last year the few days I went during sharkfest. RG? Jack?

Sept is generally good blue fishing when they are falling back. Check the fishermen's reports though- not the 'always great' pro and store reports. Unless your talking bout the Sr. - that's usually an OK time up there -weather permiting. Yea -get back away from the lots-lol.

Perfect timing. Yep, see you there after the 22nd. Hope Glen comes with you, too. I'll talk to you before then, Jack. RG, I actually meant Selkirk Shores, but since I haven't seen a blue north of Boston in 2 years, sometime this fall, I'm going to fish the breachways or the West Wall. At least I hope to. Work has been off the charts ridiculous for me, thanks to a cyclonic weather event we had in May that devastated some of my customers. I'm 2 months behind and losing ground. The storm damage is all back to 110%, but I was booked for the year and beyond before it hit. I am going salmon fishing by hook or crook, though.

...... aaaaaaand the rains came, and came, and came, etc, etc ,etc!!!! Pafisher, looks like the 'red blob' is moving off in your favor. Raining in my little piece of Penn's Woods right now but the weather dude says to expect sunshine this afternoon with a full day of sunshine tomorrow, before the rains return on Thursday. I can't wait, if the sun thingy does occur today and tomorrow, I'll get to spend tomorrow afternoon cutting the stupid grass. I'm sooooo happy!!! Be safe all-yinz-all and remember "TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN"

Got another deluge about 3:30 ( quitting time of course) once the humidity returned. What I've read, this is the wettest summer July- on, in history for my area. Something like 45 days rain in last 75 days. It's expected to be wet right through fall. Geesh, give me a break , at least from humidity.

That's nuts. I seen some flooding pictures up there. Crazy is, we've been getting anywhere from 1" to 4" deluges every day here. The mighty muddy has held it's banks but the ditches, brooks and creeks have caused daily flash flooding.

From all the hype and such, it seemed like flash flooding, not river flood. We've been having that crap almost daily. Well today it only rained a little. Humidity is back and I'm sure more of the same will come with it.
Btw, hype also says salmon are running..
