Good luck eyes...only 1 other spot I can think of where you can grab them consistenly right now with the way the lake is....it's also where I caught the one in my pics.....25 1/4 inches....13 1/2 inches around....the biggest one I've caught out of that lake...grabbed that one 2 years ago

I know two more stops other than the spillway, that hold eyes in numbers now. Should I tell you? I've been fishing them since 1970 ! Should I give out Eyes362 spot? One's not too far from the spillway, the other ones down the lake in Ohio. I'm just trying to help a guy get some eyes.If you want the spots let me know.

You mean actually having to cast and retrieve.
Booooo to much work....
Vertical jigging in a cement bathtub is way easier..

been viewing this forum for about a year. After reading it it appears that so called spot burning is a bunch of crap. The lake is public and all of our tax money helps support it. Some of the guys on here act as if it is thier own secret backyard fishing hole. Really wonder if half the guys on here even fish or just spend all their time posting about fishing. I have to work and when not working  I try to spend time on water not the fishing forum. All parts of pymy are for everybody to enjoy not just a few and their so called secret spots. Their is no such thing as a secret spot on a public lake time to grow up boys

I hear ya guy (justhavinfun).  The whole spot burning thing is nonsense.  Guys come to the boards to share information about a public lake.  While each person may have their honey hole there are at least a few others out there that know about it as well.  I like to check the boards frequently about pymatuning because I work here in Pittsburgh so it's helpful to know what's going on up there.

Happy fishing.

i agree as well. there really aren't to many secert spots, now you may have a certain depth you fish at a certain time of year at a certain place on a lake when the moon is half full and the earth is 3/4 around the sun but as you said these boards were set up to share info between us fishermen not to bust ppl for telling ppl where to go so that they may have alittle fun. So when i come back from pymi this weekend i will let you know if i caught anything and if i do i will let you know what color i used and where i was, so that you may be able to catch one as well

best post of 2011 haha

spot burning is very real.. you just have to expand your mind beyond public lakes and realize that some areas that are less known to the general public are on private property that is open to fishing.  Advertising these locations without any discretion, and with more people, comes more litter, and the occasional guy that likes to take a dump on someone's property, leading to the inevitable posting of the ground.

you guys and your walleye spots, you may be right, spot burning is not realistic, but it is for other locations.

btw... tuna is still listening to tuna and doing that stuff from the
70's... he's had blatters' frozen in cardboard since

as for the guys that post all day and never fish... some are laid off, college/highschool/retired, and prob. fish more than you even though they manage to bust out 30 posts a day.  Typing with two hands works wonders as well.

Sure does Musky....I sit at a computer for 8-10 hours a day so reading/posting to the boards breaks up the completely boring day....thus me being able to post multiple times in a day.  My fishing occurs on the weekends (when I'm not working).

i agree somewhat if you have a special spot that no one knows about okay but linesville is no secret everyone know about it they right about it in papers talk about it at commish meetings so sharing info isnt spot burning at all
