Glad to see your in and fishing CB.
 
I can run 20 rods at one time and yes get all my lines down in the 50 and 60 foot range!
 
Buy a good set of boards from Buckets Charters and you will not have a problem with the boards pulling behind the boat. Just take the 135 lb. test that come on the reels off and replace it with 500 lb test or you will break board lines one after another. Also might want to attach your mast to a bow rail with cable so it doesn't break off and come through the windshield.
 
Boards are a great asset on the water shallow or deep. You just got to figure out the program!
