Made a post about this early on before it came out that this was a TAME bear.. Wellll sometimes legal aint right and sometimes right aint legal.
If somebody had a tame/ wild/ animal around a neighborhood where there are kids or folks not accustomed to dealing with such animals there is no doubt whatsoever that a catastrophe was there in the making. No stone throwing here about the old guy,game wardens or the shooter.
Remember the lady with the TAME chimp that tore the neighbors face off and bit her hands off last year. Remember the Tiger  tamer guy in Vegas who had his head darn near torn off by his pet white Tiger. Or how bout that Grizzel Bear guy in Alaska whos 1500 pound baby pounded him.
Thats why they call em WILD. If the shooter knew it was the "tame" bear and thought he had reason to shoot it -well so be it. If he shot it cause it was big and he figured he would have some perverted bragging rights welll- we all know where he is from.
Every year somebodys PET deer gets knocked off by somebody who doesnt know its a PET. Thats the gamble one takes with life  when they "tame" something wild.
