You tie some neat stuff, no doubt about it. Don't know anything about Dee flys. To my untrained eye, the wings look just about perfect. I have an Akroyd Dee given to me by Jarome Malloy, a very highly regarded New Brunswick salmon tyer. Your Dees are darn near as nice as his. Google atlantic salmon flies and check out his web site.

ff46, After looking at swinger's Dee, guess I have to order some more stuff online tonight, just waiting for my wife to go to bed so I can place the order.

Them Atlantic Salmon tyers are amazing. I checked out his site and admired his work for awhile. Thanks for the link.

hahaha well, it was just about 3 loose nails, Grade Z, if you will.

And yeah I gotta admit that Dee is killer, i wish I had as much motivation to tie "perfect" flies like that, but I get pretty impatient.

Here is a streamer pattern using red fox and artic fox for wing and halographic /crystal flash for body and over wing and pheasant for cheeks.

Bruce that is 1 pretty fly. I just got off the phone with John. I foresee him getting another customer. Great guy to talk with. Thanks.

Beautiful tie Bruce-I too have to give John a call. Still not satisfied with my married wing sets. I'm trying the tips ya gave me but I'm still having some buckling of the wings. And I just cannot get that "hump". I'm not giving up though but I need some more dyed turkey. No problem with the goose shoulder though.
