Nicely done and the dude that said it was a waste of time more than likely doesn't have a boat.Does the outboard get it on plane or is it too heavy with the new additions?
I did the same thing 15 years ago.Bought a 12ft Starcraft aluminum with overly long trailer and 5 hp Yamaha on it.Then bought a 16 ft Mirrocraft with too short of a trailer and no motor.Cannibalized the 5 hp to the 16ft,switched trailers and sold the 12 footer with the smaller trailer.Put a 3/4 deck in the bottom underneath the 3 cross beam seats and carpeted it,then put a trolling motor on the front and rear bunk guides on the back.Purchased a piece of crap 1977 25hp Merc for the unlimited lakes, which died every other trip. All in all after 4 years I broke even but had not more than 20 hours work in it.The great thing was all the fish that were caught off of it.I still miss that little boat but am with Trout,I'd never do it again(I think).

Yea, looks great.  I am just finishing my 24' right now.  When I am done it will be roughly worth what I could have bought one for......But that wouldn't be any fun.  Looks awesome......

Just a comment.  If you haul much gear, try and stow it forward in the boat.  That axle looks awful far forward on the trailer.  The other fishtailing thread made me think of it......

Enjoy.

Better too far back, than too far forward.
