this is the biggest one I ever hit. pic sucks( scan of instant polariod) but the fish was awsome . Got so excited I could not even fish after I landed it. Worst opening day for numbers ever 1 fish landed and cast only twice, but what a beauty..It was 26 in long and 7 lb 13 oz

I must confess Tom, Yours might be a little bigger. I got mine in the Spring of 82, I was 11 years old, it was a trophy to a kid. this is the only one I've ever caught. I try to get them every year and no luck, I know its just a matter of time. I catch hundreds of trout every year and still no Pali !!!!!
For that matter I 've never gotten a stockie over 18" either, This is also just a matter of time, but you would figure sooner or later. I've fished where they are too, I've help stock almost every year, its just one of those things.

Jeb,

You may not have gotten any stockers over 18in and may have only landed 1 palie but look at it this way you landed some awsome browns up in New York when I took you there that many people would drool over..

EGG,  No doubt !!!  That 30" hen I got was freaking awesome, plus the 4 or 5 in the mid 20" range, plus the big kings. A 20+lb King on a noodle rod w/4lb Mccoy will get your heart pumping too!!!!!  I've caught plenty of big salmonoids, just as much time and effort that I put into stockies each year, you think it would even out after a while ??????
