Ok , I got a chance to check another fish off the bucket list. Now that Im getting the chance to go and try new and different kinds of fishing Im really starting to enjoy it more and more. I was offered the opportunity to go fish Lake Ontario for King Salmon. It so happens that I was on a vacation week and the availability was there for me to go so I took every advantage of it and went. Spent a day with some good friends aboard one of the Vision Quest Boats. Captain Pete put us on a few fish for the day. We went 21 for 31 , kept 16 fish a mix of 5 coho and 11 kings , threw back a small coho , 3 steelhead and one laker. Weather was great and the day couldnt have been more perfect for my first visit to Lake O. Fish were not huge by some peoples standards but to me it was the experience that had me at hello. Cant wait to go do this again. A couple pix 17lbs +  18lbs+...and this fish peeled off 210 feet of line in less than 20 seconds. Whatta Rush !!!

 A good day on the water for sure. I ended up with 5lb of slab fillets and almost 7lb of walleye fillets. Yum.
