Nice!  Are those from this year? I was able to sight fish to some carp the other day for the first time this year but got no takers.  They are a BLAST fly fishing. Picky most of the time but rewarding in the end.

Congrats too him.  We had a tough day and only managed 9 bites but it happens in tourney fishing when conditions change.  Nice to see some of us younger guys placing vrs the veterans of the sport who always seen to clean up well.  I think 2 or 3 teams with guys in there early 20's or younger placed in the money.  qote=crappiefisher]

Slabby , Ill guess she was maybe 3.5- 4lbs , Yes a pflueger , model is an arbor 7430 I own 4 of those reels now. Best reels Ive bought so far. Super pleased with them. Id recommend them to anyone. $80 range ,comes with a spare spool which was a nice selling point for me. All of my reels are spooled up with 15lb braid and then I tie on a flouro leader. Oh and the spools have the rubber nubbs on them so you can put braid on them without using backing so the braid doesnt slip on the spool. Every year I just use the spare spool to turn the braid around and its like new line. Ive only needed to buy new braid every 2 years.

Thanks for the reply Deetz. I sure figured that fish was bigger than that. It looks HUGE. I guess it just proves that pics can be deceiving. It's still a beauty.

I've thought about the Arbor reels. They are nice, but pricey. I run braid on a couple of my jigging reels. I just put a dab of super glue on the arbor and let it dry before I spool it. When are we hitting the lake again? I wanna see perch puke.
