Started raining at around 1:00 or so and has not stopped since.  Moderate for most of the day with a few heavier, but short lived showers

Totaled out for the day here at 0.97", hardly moved the creeks (Gennie went up 300 cfs and then came back down, Irondequoit Creek peaked at around 275, back to 150 already.).

It said Syracuse got  .67 yesterday, but we got more than that.  When driving to Cortland yesterday the showers ended/started  around the Oswego county border.
It is quite windy and cool here today.  Just got done with my morning chores and I do not feel like leaving this chair.  Guess I will have to wait till Wednesday to go.

Clint, guess I don't look for your red hat today.Just checked into room, got here later than usual because I had a power outage last night around 9 pm and was in total darkness for awhile, power came on a little past mid night but it screwed up my schedule so I left home late.
Going out there in a bit and will report later.

Not bad yet just a few trees here and there.   This colder weather will push it along.   Going up tomorrow on a beautiful day and hopefully I can find Jack........

Not to wish upon anyone but I hope the weather does pan out and the water comes up to just get them washed out and over with. Nothing worse than fishing mid/late November only to get washed out by leaves from a flow increase.

Any things better than work clint:) have fun Thursday. Tons of fish back behind me yesterday afternoon and tons more to come

I hope it does rain and wash them out also.   I also have next Tues and the following Wednesday off so  all good.   The tribs need water BAD so the fishies have at least a fighting chance up there.  I will just adjust my fishing.  I have a few spots I want to try for some chrome that is in faster water

Well, now they backed it down to near an inch... still should do something though, ground remained wet all weekend almost. I'd say the season will officially turn after this blows through

I don't know the official amounts but we have had quite a bit of rain over the last 72 hours.  Another good soaking coming through right now.

Rained hard for 1/2 hour or so and now it is a pretty good soaking rain coming down.   I had to go up into Pulaski to the MD  (clean bill of heath again this year)  and the river was still loaded with soaked fishheads wearing ponchos.

Local flow gauges creeks and runoffs still going vertical with no sign of crest yet. Salmon river is running 200+ cfs higher than this morning.Farm field run offs were running hard. Safe to say the wet season could be among us. Could even see a flow increase from this one come tomorrow night. Don't know what the rest was at but its definitely filling with them only dump 335 right now...

Man was it warm at 1000 this am.  Cooled off  since the cold front went through with the rain.  Stopped as of now, but it was soaking all day.   Hopefully cleans the leaves and pushed the rest of the fish down through.   Looks to be a good one later this week.   Glad it's cooler.   Was not liking sweating in the waders while walking.

Farmers Almanac 2013-14 winter predictions

According to the newest edition of North America’s oldest continuously published periodical, a decline in solar activity combined with ocean-atmosphere patterns in the Pacific and Atlantic will result in below-normal temperatures and above-normal snowfall during most of the winter across much of the United States.

He had better work on a fully stocked bar with premium liquors.  Rich I prefer single malt Scotch, Glenlivet or Macallans.

Chez Ice Tuna makes great  breakfast sandwiches. Watching a big laker attack your jig on the electronics is way better than TV.  I still prefer my winter steel, but HT has the ice thing DOWN.

Rt, not to steal clints spotlight :)
But there's still about 50% of leaves overall left. Some areas bare...some still holding. I'd give it til next weekend and it should be good to go.
