Nowthat is a nice Bluegill!Many years ago I used to catch those while fishing with my father in,of all places,New Jersey.There were several lakes in NW NJ that we fished and caught HUGE panfish,10" Gills,14"-17" perch,big LM bass. Fond memories!!

Welll -- rehab on the house is taking 5 or 6 weeks longer than expected , wont likely move in till around mid August. Then gotta finish getting this one ready for sale.
 Really messing up the fishing picture --but at least all the long range  forecasts show some decent weather upcoming -hopefully a quick trip in bout a week.
 Earlies ??????. Sure gonna enjoy a nice downriver snake infested hike.
 
 Would like to say that the Forum has been great this year during the ' slow time'- some interesting stuff and the folks  have  kept things going in a positive manner. NICE

It is raining steadily here in SE Pa this morning,but it looks clear up there right now. With all the wet weather that reservoir should be full,and the hurricane season is just beginning

Starting to get more like fall and less like summer around here.  When the weather gets a little cooler, time to get in some wood for the winter.

Found out from a buddy who fishes on the lake that theyre at depth of 150. 

I read a report earlier this afternoon that fish were 7/8 of a mile off the Salmon River hugging the bottom.  The staging has begun, let the games commence.

And "fill my bowl with stew and hand me another scotch devil woman" is what is said frequently at my house after a day of steelhead fishing.

82 and humid as balls here in SW PA (near Pittsburgh)  typical Labor Day summer hoorah though that I can remember in my life (short only 26yrs so far) we usually get this crap of humid/nasty time around kids going back to school...  Next week looks a little bit more pleasant though...  Thankfully.

Heavy buckets for about a half hour dropped like bricks last night...couple that with the water drop and the water temp is significantly cooler...

Yup, another beast rolled through for a few there.feel bad for anyone who got stuck on the lake for that one...

tuna I agree Weather Underground seems to be the most accurate to me.I find they change it frequently but usually once you get within 3 days of the target date you're looking at iTs mostly spot on. cold rain last night again tonite only low 60 tomorrow...Hmmmmmmmmm...
