Winter Trout Fishing

I'm wondering how many of you central pa guys would be interested in meeting up for a day of fishing after rifle season, and the spawn is over? Silverwype, Jlh, duncsdad, Salmotrutta, and anyone else who lives somewhat close or want to come fish is welcome. What do you guys think, is anyone interested? Anyone have any ideas where it should be?

I'm off work 12/15 (Sat.) Until Wed. 12/18.
I work shift work and only have one weekend a month off.
If you all would want to plan a day that weekend consider me in.
You guys pick the place if we do it and let me know so I know what to tie up.
It sounds like a good time.

I am definately interested.  Since I had classes today I missed my first first day of gun in 10 years.  But I will heading home tonight to hunt tomorrow.  Depending on how that goes will determine how soon I am able to do some fishing.  I gotta put hunting on the top of the priority list for the next 2 weeks.  If all goes according plan...lol...I will be ready to fish.  The little J should be fishing well once it recedes a bit, same with fishing creek.  However, I will be willing to fish just about anywhere.

    Dan,

I have 2 days of vacation to burn between now and the end of the year.  I could use them responsibly and take two days when the new pup comes home so that I can start his early training or I could stick Duncsmom with the pup and go fishing.  No one ever accused me of being responsible.

I was hoping to use them to go to Erie for Steelhead since I haven't bee up yet, but I would consider a day elsewhere.

Keep me posted on what you come up with.

Any day of the week is typically fine with me. I always have off tuesday and wednesday, but saturday and sunday are fine also, so long as I have a week or two's notice.

Oh yeah....and I will catch a big sucker. It never fails, if I fish with anyone from this forum, I catch suckers. BTW, no photos will be allowed. LOL, I dont want anymore photos of me with suckers.

I'll have the hidden camera folks.  We'll get him.

I'm thinking we should fish Spring Creek.  Just because of easy wading.  I'm not really in the mood to get blessed by the little J in 35 degree water.

Spring Creek sounds good to me. Can we do when I'm off? !2/15, 16, or 17 are all good for me.
If it's on I'll need some directions and all that. I've never been there.

If you don't mind an extra guy, I may be interested, pending snow.  If there's a lot of snow/ice on the roads between Potter County and State College I don't want to make the trip.

Fishing with bait is like swearing in church.

15th or 16th sounds good to me, by that time I will have hunting off my mind.  Ill start stocking up on nightcrawlers, powerbait, and doughballs to provide enough for everyone attending.

Drake my camp is at the concrete bridge below the
paradise, there is two built camps & 3 trailers there
mine is the tan camp with the porch on it on the side
of the camp. coming down stream from the paradise do
not cross the bridge, there is a blacktop road that is to the right of the bridge, the road goes down then swings up the hill to the homes on
the hill. do not go up the hill keep going down & you are there.
when the road turns up the hill there is a camp there just go down
past that camp & you are there & any time is fine with me
hope we can get a count on how many are comming
