Sad story that Slayer.
After you and Tuna brought it up I got in touch with Charlie.
Seems this year is sauceless due to his freezer crapping out while he was away watching his son's army graduation. Followed by a home burglury and a sllloooowwwww to pay insurance agency.
Doesn't look real good getting him up there this year either.
Trying to put something together over the nov voting weekend.
His being a bio techie for the county gets him that time off and he can put toghter the traditional long weekend at no vacation time cost.
Question is whether it gets him the time off from the honeydew also.

as expected and planned, my time this year on the SR is few and far between which is why I dropped the season pass.. I will be guiding folks nov,5,6 & 7 and after that all plans switch to putting venison in the freezer, as it always does.. If I get my quota of tenderloins I'll get some time to hit the water and let you know if that happens. December 5th I'm outta here and will be in Arizona until Dec-30th.

Hey Tuna-
Aint it a great dilema- wether or not to fish or hunt-Early Oct. Turkey/salmon---late October Salmon/steelies/black powder for deer. I get extra lucky cause Ct seasons are later than NY seasons. So little time so much great stuff to do.

Please translate for me.
This old fart reads it as a request for some of my friend Charlie's Lucky 13 sauce.
Charlie is a long ago poster here.
His screen name was Lucky 13.
He made a sauce consisting of 13 different peppers.
It is one of the culinary wonders of the world for hot sauce lovers.
IT MAKES WOMEN WEEP AND GROWN MEN TREMBLE.
I wish he had a batch this year so you could sample.

"13" used to be common code for the evil weed, devil's herb, gonja, mary jane, reefer, doobie, yada yada...

I like hot sauce - but not to the point where I can't taste the actual food I'm eating -

Makes no sense - reminds me of the salmon harvesters that smear way too much glaze on their river mudhark fillets...

No illegals here--not that I look down on those that do--just have been subject to random DOT's since 94.

If it was just about the heat a few hobbies and lanterns and be done.
While it packs a punch the 13 is definately all about the flavor.
I add a tad to my coleslaw dressing and special burger sauce. Won't recommend eating it by the spoonful out of the jar, but, I have done it as a shot to impress the ladies (ok it was really some guides hanging out late at Busters and more because I was drunk and not to impress them since they were probably to drunk to remember.
The taste was an olive branch not a threat!

Other than Meg Whittman who can afford illegals any more these days?

Watched some some fool win a $20 bet in a bar by slamming half a shotglass full of habenaro sauce. Poor fellow was holed up in the corner in the fetal position - after he turned fire-engine red and finally caught his breath. I thought the bartender was going to call 911.

I find it ironic that Obobo (the Millionare Wealth-Redistributor, a.k.a "My Brother's Keeper") can't afford to help his illegal alien Auntie who is schlepping free housing and a monthly SS disability check when she never paid a single dime into the system. Change You Can Believe In !!!
