you will have to forgive my lack of faith in the government......

That's a good point, I agree, especially as it applies to the PFBC, but this proposal was brought forth by anglers tryin' to improve or advance our fishing opportunities in certain applicable situations.  Unfortunately, gov't has to be involved to get the possible change made.

For those interested in supporting the effort to use three rods in Pennsylvania, please send a short letter to Brian Barner, Acting Executive Director, Pa. Fish and Boat Commission, P. O. Box 67000, Harrisburg, PA 17106. Any letters sent will be copied and forwarded to appropriate staff members and all commissioners.
Comments can also be submitted at www.fishandboat.com/regcomments and will also be relayed to the appropriate people. Comments are acceptable from those outside Pennsylvania as well as state residents.

Another good point, but might as well let tackle tarts like Cory take full advantage of all their gear.

1000% FOR IT!!! there shouldn't even be a limit. just cause you can use x number of rods doesn't mean u have too. i wrote to the trout commish already in favor. and on a diff form we have a pettion going around to sign. i also started a email chain. we have till this spring before it's up for vote so, so if your in favor get off your azz and take 2 mins and write to them. http://www.fishandboat.com/regcomments

Judging by the responses, we'll be seeing it change to 3 rods in no time. It's funny though, seeing so many anglers admit that it's troubling. Game commission, help! We need more poles based on our lack of fish in boat! =P  and to think that I've always thought if I wasn't catching fish to try a new spot. Now, we can all just throw 3 lines out into a hole where there's no fish! You can't say we didn't try!

I'd rather be fishin...

Thank you for your support and please pass this along to anyone you know that may be interested. I think for me 2 rods will have confidence baits and the 3rd rod could be something not commmonly used just to see what happens or on a slow day while you fish for the same specie with 2 rods fish for a totally different specie with the 3rd.
