Upload FAIL. If you need help, just link us to the pic wherever you have it hosted. I'm sure someone will post it in the thread.

Tiger trout look a bit like a brookie. The standard pattern across the back of the brookie is also the pattern that extends down the sides of the tiger. The fins of the tiger also have the white tips like a brookie. There are also some variations in the side pattern. They also have very sharp teeth.

It probably was a tiger. I was fishing the yough just down from the meadow run mouth and caught an 18 inch tiger. Does anyone know who stocks them in the yough?

Still can't see the pic??? Oops, clicked on the photobucket link instead of where it says "attachment" & can now see the pic, if thats a stocked brownie, it's unlike any stocked brownie i've ever seen, it has a strange pattern, kinda like a cross between a brownie & a tiger?

Its a brown trout. Not a tiger, not even a large feline predator trout. Its a **** fine brown, but not a tiger. Nice catch. Finally...THE PIC!!!

Yea, now looking at the pic a lil better, it is a brown, just seems like the spot pattern is a lil diff than your average brownie.

no? very descriptive on the reasoning there slick....i would bet money that if in fact the fish was caught in meadow run, then it is a tiger from a private fishing club upstream....that sorta thing happens every single year on meadow run Nick
