Hey Skip - nice fish!

I can agree on that.

Wonder if she needs a fishing partner.

I decided to go to liberty park (where I use to fish when I was a kid). Caught about 8 bass and spent some time talking to a cute girl from Arizona.

I don't give a D*#n about their casino revenues. I am ****ed about the familys that sign up a year in advance to get a cabin to rent at Arthur and are sent home.  Nice vacation!!
Thanks Fast Eddie!!

Good but closing everything down, laying off employees for a day, and sending many families home (who I'm sure won't be coming back anytime soon) was not needed to pass this budget.

But look at the bright side, the state saved an additional 3.5 million to add to the 600 million+ surplus it already had by furloughing those 24,000 workers for one day.  (just joking by the way, those workers shouldn't be used as political pawns).  Rendell is a greasy, slimy, dirt bag and I am glad the legislature stood up to him and refused to raise taxes at this time.  If anything, our taxes should be reduced since we had a surplus!  Remember scum bag eddie raised the state income tax to 3.07% from 2.85%.  Reduce it back and give us some of our money back.

"Scum bag" Eddie's tax increase was approved by the state, so he clearly didn't do that on his own.  The state legislature approved a tax hike when it happened.

Yes, and many of those same fellows were voted out of office recently (although due to the pay raise shenanigans) but they are gone, none the less.  I do believe slimeball Rendell was the one lobbying for the tax hike to balance the budget (shortfall year) instead of holding the line on taxes and making cuts in other programs.  You have to preserve the "pork" at all costs, don't ya know!  :-)

I was living in Texas at the time though so I wasn't fully up to date on all the news.
