an emerging march brown.....

Here are some pics of an emerging march brown mayfly crawing out of its nymph body. My girlfriend Chris and I took these pics while we were fishing the Clarion River about a month ago. Some of them are somewhat out of focus, i'll blame her for that ......enjoy!

    it's a shame in the first picture we can't see your shoes. good post though.

    the early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

    I'm sorry my pics aren't as good as the ones on your website. Maybe i'll take the next round of pics just like the ones on your website, with a bunch of rednecks sitting on the bank with their rods propped up on sticks.

    I don't know, but I know who would.....you know, that guy who wrote the "Big Browns on the Little J" article in flyfisherman magazine. I bet he would know, maybe he even wrote an article on the san juan emergence.
