Did You Know That!

Start something here for just a little bit of learning for everyone.

Rules:
1) Add a fact/tip/trick about hunting/fishing/boating/dogs/camping... (something about the outdoors)
2) Someone must post a fact after you before you can post another fact
3) Keep it serious for the most part, dont joke without first giving something useful.

Ill start:

Fact: When your dog is sick you can feed them rice or pumpkin to help make them feel better. They can also take pepto bismol without any side effects.

    For scent controll deer hunting.
    1. Perge your system for a week by not eating any meat.
    2. Eat apples and vegetables to clean your pours.
    3. Brush your teeth with baking soda.

If your dog eats something it's not supposed to (like my black lab eating 2 weeks worth of my mutt's arthritis medicine) you can give it 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide to make it barf.  Make sure the dog is outside, cause it happens quick.

Sharks are immune to all known diseases.

There are 701 types of pure breed dogs.

Flatfish (halibut, flounder, turbot, and sole) hatch like any other "normal" fish. As they grow, they turn sideways and one eye moves around so they have two eyes on the side that faces up.

fishing is a very ancient practise that dates back to the Mesolithic peroid

Picked this up in a field and stream recently.

To make your own waterproof matches. Dip the head of the match in clear fingernail polish. Lay it to dry on wax paper. After it dries, flip it and dip the other portion.

If your dog is sick you can feed it dry cooked hamburger (like you would use for sloppy joes).

How about an easy camping recipe for breakfast in a dutch oven.

In a dutch oven fill the bottom with a layer of bread (white bread works best) then whisk a bunch of eggs, this depends on the size of you dutch oven but the eggs should cover the bread generously...then add cooked sausage on the top and let it sit over night( it has to be a cool/cold night or it should be put in a cooler overnight). In the morning cook it on the fire...MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM  baby

    Oh, BTW good dog tips....thanks

If your going to scout a new area then hunt it the next morning try using one of those glowsticks they sell for trick or treat, place it at your tree or tree near your ground spot, you can see it way way off and most of them last for hours so it will stay lit all night. And possibly keep others away thinking your already there.

If you're cheap like PT & wanna save monies on glow sticks u can smear/squish/squash fireflies on your rod tip for the next month or two.
