Catfish in the Juniata?

I was wondering if anyone ever had much luck with catfish in the Juniata between Mt. Union and Newton Hamilton, I come from johnstown about twice a year to wade for bass and others but don't seem to see or hear much about the cats there?

I heard some guys around Mount Union saying they would fish for carp and cats at night with softshells, but i've only ever seen average sized bullheads caught. I thought someone may have targeted them in that general area,,,,,not asking for anyones hotspot here just wondered if it was worth the effort.
