Fishing Creek

Anyone drive by or fish Big Fishing Creek in Clinton County today?  I know this should be in the NC section but, it will get more hits here.  I was thinking of maybe giving it a shot tomorrow in the afternoon.  I was hoping someone could tell me what the conditions are.  I know its going to be high, I am more interested in the visibility.  I drove by Spring today and the upper sections look nice, rolling pretty fast and about 2' of vis, just the way I like it.  Thanks in advance to all who reply.

I came through upper spring myself today and thought... wow, if only the wind wasnt blowing 75mph.

Id imagine that its lower then spring, much smaller drainage area. Hit it up!

Thanks Jeremy I think that was all I needed to get my arse up there tomorrow.

I had intentions on fishing Spring this afternoon, but like you said the rediculous wind gusts made me turn around.  I was surprised that it really wasn't affected all that much by all that rain, the NWS said we got over 1.5", im sure it helped that it was more of a steady light rain and not a downpour.

If you want to fish somewhere on saturday or sunday let me know.  I haven't had much of a chance to fish the past 3 weeks and I got the itch bad!!  More than likely I will be out Saturday and Sunday.

I will see what I can do for the pics, I am spinning up some weenies as we speak.

I'm in for saturday if you guys are up for it. Just got a new camera to try out, which means we (I) will catch only suckers. The little J will be too high, its above 4 ft right now. Spring will be the best bet.

Im in for Spring Creek saturday and/or Sunday.  It is not going to be as nice of a day on Saturday, they are saying high 30's and scattered snow showers.  If anything it might keep a few people at home, so that works for me.

Let me know the details of when/where you guys are planning to fish and we will work from there.

I can fish anytime before 5pm. Do have any specific spot in mind ? I'll be out of the office today for a couple hours, so I probably wont see any posts again until about 7pm. Any time/place will be fine, just let me know when/where. Spring creek will probably be the best bet.

Chris, I hope you got my PM, Im sorry I couldnt make it out Sunday. Finally I have a weekend where I dont have a commitment. Not that the past two weekends were'nt fun... just busy!

You wanna plan to fish? Im up for going just about anywhere. I got a new camera, want to put it through the ringer! It sure cost me an arm and a leg but I needed something good for my guide clients.

    Jeremy,

I got your pm, it's no big deal.

Im definately in for fishing this weekend.  The only problem is I may not have a car on saturday.  My gf needs it for something or another, and my truck is back in Pittsburgh, since we only have one car between us up here I am sol.  Anyways, one of my buddies may be coming up to fish this weekend, if he does then im down for both days.  But, if he doesn't make it then I am going to be limited to Sunday.

Are you busy this Wednesday afternoon, im going to fish Spring in the afternoon.  I have class until 2 so I will likely be on the water around 2:30.

That sounds good, I will send you a pm tomorrow and let you know for sure if I am fishing wednesday, and all the details.

I don't technically live "on campus", I live about a block away...lol.  I may need a ride though if you wouldn't mind, if my buddy doesn't make it.  Judging by the way most of my friends normally are, he won't be coming.
