Has springtime finally arrived?

I think so.  Sure seemed like a really long winter.  Not sure why I think that, but it did.  Is it my aging(I'm 27 today)??  The northern lights are starting to flare a bit more; a sure sign of more direct sunlight.

What, in spring, are you looking forward to?

Generally, for myself, warmer temps.

Specifically, I'm looking forward to fishing the little J.  No surprise there.  I guess in particular, the grannoms, as this will be my first of fishing alot.  I've got a few grannoms tied but not many.  All this winter -doing-nothing time and I don't have many flies.  Slackin' here in central PA.  I'm not much of a winter time fisherman other than steelhead.  I think the last time I fished the J was ????  I don't know..  last June???

I did fish the upper section in January.   Caught some stockie "stockie" rainbows.

Once June hits, I've got a one tracked mind - Skamania, Skamania, Skamania.  If there ever was an obession of pursuit for me, that'd be the one.

sure sign of spring is the return of the red winged blackbirds, the robins have been back for 2 weeks now, and its not spring yet.

the early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

    Happy birthday Jon!

I just turned 28 last week. I didnt even get to celebrate, because my father ended up in the hospital that day. On the bright side, I didnt get to set around thinking about how i'm another year older. I dont know why, I just dont like approaching that 30 year mark.

BTW, if you dont remember the last time you fished the LJ, its been too long duud. Better get some grannoms tied, theirs a ton of them stuck to the rocks. It should be another good year for them. I just finished up a bunch of sparkle pupas, and soft hackles. Cant wait.

When things return to fishable levels we all need to fish. I know I wussed out a couple times, but I'll be on day shift mon.- Fri. for a while. At least a month.

It seems like I have more friends and family that have birthdays in february and march than any other months.

Happy b-day salmo, I missed your post when I read through earlier. We will all have to fish sometime.

    When you available?  Weekends?

You up for the little J?  Grannoms are about a month away.

I'd like to come play around on the Letort, Falling Springs too.

HAppy birthday guys!   I actually can't really remember what I was doing at 28 but it involved OD green, helicopters, and rucksacks.  Be 57 on my next, and I'm to the point of needing a staff (of about 8), cane and comfortable log every 50 yards.   Take care of your backs young jedis, because when walking starts to go it sucks.

Weekends off for about another month. Off this Mon. & Tues. & next Fri. too.
I haven't been to Falling Spring yet this year but I like to go there.
More rising fish than the other notable limestoners.
Whenever you want to fish give me a PM. This weekend, next or whenever. That goes for anyone. If I'm free I'm more than happy to be fishing.
I still have those mags I promised to you too.......
