Dollar Wise Fly

Dollar Wise Fly is a new show on Versus. A good friend of mine is involved with making it happen. There have been three shows so far and I think it's pretty good. Please check it out on Friday Nights.
Conway (the host) travels around showing you how to go on a fishing trip "on the cheap".
Week 1 he fished for Redfish.
Week 2 for Sharks in the flats.
Week 3 He went out west to do some October Trout fishing.

If all goes well and there is a season 2 there may be a chance he'll come to the NE fishing. I can't give up more than that. Just watch!

Also The Huntley way (Huntley Ritter) is another Cool dude. Watch his factory working butt too.

I've watched that show the past 3 weeks on versus, very interesting and realistic giving good info on how to save money on the trips and how to do it. I couldn't believe that they charged him 200 plus dollars just to taxi him out in that little kayak to fish redfish though, seemed a little pricey to me??

Did anyone see ted barta hunt for boar with dogs and a knife.No joke he let the dogs attact the pig and then he killed the pig with a knife.Peta is gonna have a heart attack when they see this one.

I miss the shows that just show fishing as a relaxation sport.  I hate the competition fishing shows.  To me, they are everything that fishing should NOT be.  Give me Jerry McGinnis' show "Fishin Hole" anytime.  I'd rather watch his reruns that all the fishing programs on the air today.  We need more shows like his.  I don't think any of the "fishermen" on TV today know how to play a fish.  They all use such heavy pound test that there's no need to play the fish.

I think the competition shows are great for fishing. Dont forget about the children. I would love to be a bass master.Paid to fish.Some of the regular shows they fight the fish real hard.They use heavy line because they fish heavy cover as well.Hunt for big fish,dollar wise fly,tedd barta,bill dance,shaw,roland,hank,in fisherman,spanish fly and many more have their place.I gotta give all the shows so respect. All those guys put a lot of time in and are great roll models. Hate is a strong word.Thanks would have been a little nicer.Id rather watch hunt for big fish or spanish fly but i support the sport.Fishon
