Chautauqua Lake

Anybody doing any good at Chautauqua.  I fished Long Point last evening, bunch of small perch, but didn't even mark anything large.

    Not sure what species you are after but gills are hittin at Burtis Bay, not many guys after them there, Mayvile was hot for panfish a couple weeks ago, lots of guys hittin that area.

    Looking for walleye.  Might try again this weekend.  Maybe the meadows area.

    shore ice starting to go bad

    fished off big tre last nite 9-10 in ice best ice all year
    go figure great nite
    crappies and some decent perch on grubs and pimples

    fished mayville no one else 2be seen
    moved around some finally found the fish
    non stop after that
    after sorting through about 75 fish
    kept 27 fat 8 9 and a few 10s
    lots of ice

    fished mayville last nite
    one other die hard
    tons of hungry 9-10 in perch
    ice at about 8 in and getting soft

    we were able to fish one last time friday at mayville
    shore ice punky but farther out ice was still 9in
    lots n lots of perch not many keepers 9-10s
    loads of fun just the same
    time to hose the gear off and get the bow out
    less than 200 days till season
