I was out saturday. Decided to avoid the crowds from the tourney. 20+ boats drifting over the same hump is a bit ridiculous. I had the same results tho. Nothing! But at least it can only get better!

Yeah, it was a little ridiculous, we would get over a hump and next thing u know 6-7 other boats show up around us. The wind wasn't cooperating at all either, i think that was another big problem this weekend.

I was at camp all weekend, so I didn't make it out. Sounds like I didn't miss much with the tourney going on.

It took 5 pounds at the crappie tourney, just to make the top 50.  I didn't fish it, I was busy cleaning the pontoon all morning and making sure the motor ran, prior to putting it the lake for the summer. I did fish off my dock on Saturday night and caught a 14 inch Smallmouth, two perch and a bullhead. My neighbor fished off his dock and caught three walleye, two of which were keepers. He was using worms on the bottom, I was using medium minnows from Poffs.

Thanks for the flowers fellas, I appreciate it. It's been almost a year since I've been on the water and I plan on making up for lost time. Got to try out a brand new never been used before, rod and reel which I bought as a Christmas present for my wife. (Hey, it works(I think😜))

All fish were caught using a red & white spider or a red and white bucktail jig from my screwed up personnaly tied, collection of jigs.

Fish were not aggressive in hitting the baits for the most part. As with jig fishing, keeping the line taught, led to "feeling the weight" of the fish.

Sorry, no spot burning even though I know, my secrete would be safe here on the boards. However, I will say, some area lakes do heat up, well before others.

In closing, with regard to the fish (can you believe it?) I caught, may I just say...... stupid fish!

Didn't catch them wading thunderpole, but my spot was on fire today. The black dog and I found a few friends to have over for dinner. Would've been done an hour earlier, but somebody left their net skills at home for 3 nice fish.

Fished Linesville area this morning. On the water by 7:30 done with a limit of big black crappies by ten.

. Good job Chauncey ... guess maybe I should have went to Pymie , oh well way it goes 😜.. got enough for a little meal ... lol... as for the pictures does it say the picture is to large ? Might have to resize them
