Passed on everything firstday and then saw zippo the past two days during the same time frame. I can't help but think that the guad activity I saw and heard Tuesday could have something to do with it. I think they may be becomming more nocturnal. Or maybe just a few bad warm days.

The c'mere deer website says the liquid utilizes "root extract and mineral stabilizers" so I would consider that to be food stuff and therefore, illegal in PA.  You could always try to contact your local WCO and get an answer straight from the horse's mouth, but I have a feeling he will tell you the same thing that I did.

Just remember that you never know who may be lurking on these forums and WCOs certainly get leads from forums such as this one.

Anyhow, congrats on the buck.

Seen 6 doe/fawns on Sat. AM and finally made it out again last night.

Saw six more doe/fawns unfortunately, one was spooked by me by another hunter and she was snorting up a storm and a momma and 2 fawns busted me getting out of my stand.  It was still gray light (enough to see but not enough to see pins under the canopy of leaves) and the freshly fallen maple leaves were pretty quiet.  She didn't snort/bolt until my feet hit the ground so she probably watched me get all the way down in my climber.

Heard her several hundred yds away still snorting when I walked out.  Saw another doe/fawn in a field when I was walking out.

No buck sign yet where I am hunting. Hope the rain holds off for tomorrow AM or at least isn't too bad.

Buck sign in my area absolutely blew up within the last week.  Rubs and scrapes have been popping up seemingly everywhere.  However, based on what the cameras are seeing most of the good movement is occurring under the cover of darkness.

I was out Saturday and yesterday evening and so far I have only seen a few does.

I'll be back at it tomorrow unless it's raining too hard.

Had my first legal one at 10 yds this morning.  It was a 1-1/2 yo 7 point that got a pass.  I've had two 2-1/2 yo within a half mile of home that found out they couldn't win a battle with a car in the last week which really sucks. Full moon and 70 degree weather doesn't make for real good hunting.

Smoked a adult doe today at 9:15,slipped a 100 gr. 3 blade Rage between the base on the neck shoulder blade, just unbelievable damage to the lungs, two leaps, stops and crashes down, maybe 25 yards.Had all kinds of deer movment today let 3 other younger does and fawns have a freebie.Third time out,but the first morning hunt,no buck seen but the does are plentiful, just a matter of time.

The 8 from Oct 2. Shot at 6:05, came down along a field edge with a 4 point at about 20 yards. Tried those G5 T3's and was pretty impressed. He only went about 40 yds and crashed. This is the earliest I've ever been tagged out.

This 8 came in yesterday morning to an aggressive grunting sequence.  I had watched him chasing does at a couple hundred yards, but he was more than willing to come investigate the buck that was challenging him.  The PA tag is filled...

Still working on filling my doe tag not real hard though, did have small doe close enough last week but decided to pass on her, pretty small. Then didn't see anything Tuesday & Wednesday this week both morning and evening hunts. Usually see deer in the fields as I'm leaving, then last night I see this about 20 yds from my stand in the edge of a thicket...not sure but sure looks like bear signs to me, maybe this is one reason for not see any deer...lolAttachments are not available: Download requirements not met

I do have to ask though; doesn't it bother you that you never get to hunt November

After a closer look at the tree might just be a woodpcker.... Trying it in the morning

Thanks everyone, appreciate the comments.  Esox, I probably should get tired of it, but I really enjoy bird hunting and November on is made for my dog LOL...  Nice bucks to Mopar and Martin, sorry... I have not been on much lately.  Mopars, I do agree that looks like a woodpecker more than a bear. JRM, great shot... it is a true testament to the skill of any hunter that can take a yote with a stick and string.  For what it's worth, my dog stepped in a giant pile of bear yesterday while pheasant hunting... (which literally ended in ten minutes).  The first point had a double come back at me and I folded both cleanly... Kind of a downer but really cool :0  Anyways, good luck to all through the rest of the season.  Griffon

Looks like a crappy, warm week this week but hopefully the long range forecast holds for the last 2 weeks of the season.  Snow flakes will be flying at just the right time.
