Walleye in the creeks?

Walleye in the creeks?

Has anyone ever hooked up with any eyes in the creeks like around the marina or wall at walnut or elk nar the access area?

    Lost one by the wall on Walnut Creek early September on a spoon..Though it was just a lazy Steelhead till I got it in close.I shook the hook just before the net hit the water..

    SO MANY FISH SO LITTLE TIME.
    WHY ARE ALL THE PLACES I HAVE YET 2 FISH SO FAR AWAY?

    Have caught a couple on spoons off riggers while trolling tight in the fall for steel.  Not many though.  Usually around the time of the 'eye opener in early May, guys will begin fishing for them with large plugs off the creek mouths after dark.

    Saw a lady catch one about 9-10 years ago along the wall at walnut.Mid day in October on a all silver Cleo.
