Trolling Crawler Harnesses?

With the panfish bite slowing down a bit i've been putting some time into walleye fishing.  Was kinda bored last weekend so I tied up some harnesses from some old stuff I got handed down to me and gave them a try at woodkawk sunday.  Only fish we had all day was taken on one.  Anybody have any tips or tricks for a newbie to the trolling game?  Speeds, how far back to run them, different setups?

I keep the speed on harnesses around 1 mph. I prefer bottom bouncers back at about 45 degree angle, just keep the bouncer just off the bottom hitting every once in a while. When I'm using harnesses on inline boards I look for suspended fish. I use keel weights or the fish weights set about a foot or so above the fish. Walleyes usually will come up after food so it's best to keep it higher before lower.
