reef runner ?

was wondering if anyone could help me out here? if i am in 70 foot of water and the lure dives to 28 foot,i do not use leadcore so if i wanted to reach the 35 to 45 foot range with 20 pound mono how much line out and wieght should i add? any help on this would be very thankfull for guys.

    1ounce of weight equals roughly 4 feet of depth at 2.3-2.5 mph regaurdless of amount of line out. So to reach your depth of 40ft you would need 3 ounces of lead.

    50 back. Add 4 oz then another 100'. Send out on boards. Or 50 back. Add 3oz then another 150.
