trollng motor

With the new trolling motors with the universal sonars how does the fish finder get power? Is there a power cord and sonar cord coming from the trolling motor?

They have a adapter that allows you to plug directly in to the brand of sonar unit. It is a no splice plug in.

So does that provide power to the unit also?

On my universal sonar trolling motor, there is a plug for the transducer only. You still need to provide power for the fishfinder unit.
