Conditions for Saturady.

Can anyone give some feedback of the conditions at Elk / Walnut for today. What are your expectations of tomarrow? Slow melt with good color or quick melt Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory? Thanks All Tight lines & ice free tips! ... DC

I fished both Elk and Walnut today.  Elk had good flow, but clear.  Walnut had a bit more color and good flow.  I think tomorrow should be fine.  Good luck.

If the temps get above 60 it will be a fast melt leading to high and muddy conditions.

Of course it'll probably be just fine.

Elk was wonderful on Friday. Today ??  with the runoff there could be cloudy conditions only time will tell. I'd expect OK till late in the day barring no rain. This is probably too late of a response anyway. Dave

We'll I wish I had gone . Wife made me go out on Saturday ; despite all the excuses I could muster I ended up spending quality time @ home . Hopefully this weekend. I let a buddy down that I was supposed to fish with & feel really bad about it but I'll make it up to him. Last trip was unbelievable so I am in the stuck at work doldrums. I did manage to get all of my walleye & perch poles redone , custom painted , tied up many crawler harnesses for the coming year so it wasn't a total loss.

At least you did spend some time doing fishing related "things".  Good luck when you come up.
