Great rainy day today on Arthur!! Between 2 of us we boated 8 largemouth (2 were 3lbs+, the rest averaged around 2#'s) and a 13" striper all on crankbaits. Water was between 60-61 degrees!! The two biggest...

i was up a couple days and i was getting 56 to 61 degrees in the lake and hit 64 up in a cove

guys were causing a ruccus under 528 tonight, very annoying.
also seen a PFBC or DCNR boat head up to the game lands with some dogs and were after something

I didn't see the Gamey boat but did here the dogs going crazy tho. I seen a boat heading up that way bout 630 pm . Fishing was pretty good!!! And even caught a few dragging a rubber fish when I got need a break from casting.

Noe butt since u did... Last few times out been getting better sz. fishing (cover) weed edges & pockets more so than structure. Gonna try Thurs./Fri. & give both cover & structure a fair shot & see what produces the better quality.

Nick and I fished the usual spot for an hour tonight. Only got one real nice one, but missed a few other nice ones. I was starting to get a little worried. We've had no problem with numbers this year, but the slabs have few and far between. Maybe it'll start getting better.

It'll get better for the SLABS in #'s from now through May. But I'll be wading after midnight 90% ov the time in a couple more weeks. Have a few lbs. ov Fatheads,Suckers,Chubs,Darters & Crawdads in the bait tanks to use up before the 2:00 am. adventures start in 2 weeks though.

It is getting better for the #s of slabs. I was to the left of the usual spot the other evening & the weeds are starting up nicely,which I believe is bringing in the bigger ones. sam
