Loose Eggs

Loose Eggs  
Did anyone notice loose eggs yet ? I keep one steelhead every 2 or 3 years to replentish my egg supply. The only way I will kill the fish is if the eggs are falling out while being landed. The fish is not waisted. A friend grinds it into fish cakes.

    There's a few. I caught one in the bay last month believe it or not that was loose.
     
    1 the other day that had already dropped about half her eggs, and 2 that were totally spawned out, so they are in there. I haven't fished the upper stretches, I'd imagine you'd have a better shot at finding them up there.
