terrestrial time

when the trout aren't rising for the mayflies it's time to break down and make'm rise for beetles, ants and spiders.

    bings, like you said, lots of caddis but very few risers. here's the only thing i caught. doesn't look like much but he took me into my backing in the fast current.


    by noon the wind picked up and my back cast got more distance than my forward cast. by 1:00 i left. i only seen one other fish caught of about 10 guys.
