Okuma Solterra

I just purchased a new Sloterra leval wind reel and loaded it with power pro. Looks like the does not wind level on the reel. One side has more line than the other. The level wind lever seems to have some free play in it and was wondering if this is normal or would this create the problem. Love the feel of the reel, but I'm not sure if there is something wrong.
Has anyone had similar problems?

    Add a mono backing
Powerpro may be sliding on spool

    Hi,

I have 50 yds. of mono backing and the line was wound tight. I am pretty sure that is not the problem. I am more inclined to think it has something to do with the line bar!!
