Beach glass bonus!

Well, looks like I have to quit giving my mom grief over the hours she spends scouring the beaches for washed up 'beach glass'.

End of last summer she brought me a wad of mono with various rusted treble hooks sticking out, a spinner blade here, a barrel swivel there...
She said there were some lures in there she'd found throughout her travels.
"wow. thanks mom"

Fast forward to this past week, finally got a chance to untangle it...
add new hooks all around, new split rings where needed, a little reflective tape;
and BOOM! a work bench full of refurbished spoons, spinners, & sticks.

"WOW! THANKS MOM!"

And thanks to all you erie fishermen for your contributions to be 2nd hand tackle box. Amazing what's mixed up on those beaches with that silly beach glass.

    thats awesome....i love finding lures while out fishing...especially during stockie trout season when the trees around the popular spots look alot like a decorated christmas tree...ill spend a while to retrieve what i can...its almost better than catching fish...almost

    It's not how deep you fish...It's how you wiggle your worm.
