Shhhh though, my wife doesn't know that is where I'm going.

Well Pete, you have two possible explanations when you get back home and your wife asks why your hands smell fishy...

Good luck Pete-
Hit the lfz if you can squeeze in someplace. Saw some dead Coho again this week and some guys were catching Browns around 4 or 5 pounds.
Saw a guy "play" a foul hooked fish for a full half hour on Thursday in the bridge pool. He actually sat down after a while in the snow. The fish didnt move much and just rolled around a lot. Then the guy LAID on his back !!!
Finealy- somebody yelled over for him to break it off and a swearing match started up. Then the guy got upset with everybody and started gettin nasty.
Dont know if he ever landed it cause I left after a solid half hour. It was so  absurd it was kind of funny seeing  him just laying there holding the bent rod straight up in the air for so long against his belly.
Didnt see much if any fly line  on his rig either unless it was real thin white line. Looked like dacron backing all the way.  Who said its only in Shark season?   Guess its all part of the SR "experience".

Too bad the DEC was n't there to see that jerk "play" with his snagged fish, that would have been a expensive lesson.I'm glad I was n't there as I'm getting too old to rumble, but I know I would have been yelling at him too.

OK drove up through blowing snow from the Beaverkill up. Worst weather I've had on the river because of the wind.Fished Trestle for 3 hrs. Had some tugs and lost one at the net (professional release).Left fly rod in truck. Not the day for me to practice.Oh yea, stooped to using crawlers, they would freeze solid if out of the water for more than a couple of seconds.Didn't see anyone else hook up.
