No use of automatic weapons

Actually, I wouldn't mind if PA came out of the dark ages and permitted semi-auto rifles.  While I wouldn't buy one - I prefer the looks of my bolt action rifles -- the reduced recoil may be a plus for some.

And please don't come back with "they would just be spraying the woods with bullets" because of someone really wants to do that, a lever action or pump will do it at about the same rate in the hands of an experienced used of that type of rifle.

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

I was jokingly referring to fully auto weapons, trying to poke fun at the thread as it seems to be a bunch of reduntant pgc bashing that we've heard a million times before. I was just being a jagoff.

I would have no problem with semi autos, with a reasonable mag. capacity, being legal for hunting. I wish I could try hunting with my kimber .45 too.

Me too.  Wish Pa. would come out of the dark ages on many things.  Semi-auto with a 5 round mag limitation is long overdue.

My rifle is a black rifle

Just thinkin the other day, the only complaint I have about game laws is the fact that I can hunt within 50 yards of a house with a bow and arrow and have to be 150 yards away from a house if I don't carry any weapon and am just driving deer for family members. Just doesn't make sense to me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, you can't use larger than 4's in your shotgun for fall turkey, but can use a rifle.

Never understood that one.  The only thing that bothers me about it is that I don't see the logic.  Don't really care that I can't use anything larger than 4's for turkey.  Obviously it's a safety thing, but in units that allow rifles, what's the point.

To add to that confusion, if you're hunting coyotes during sping turkey, you have to comply with the turkey shot size.
