How was your dinner, 71? Had some Lake Erie walleye the other day along with some crappie fillets and they were yummy. Sounds like you know the river very well.

They were excellent but didnt have any crappies to go along with them. After fishing the Yough for 37 years now and have walked many many miles of it before and after the canoe I had...lol...I know where to go to catch different species of fish. The canoe actually became a pita for me, so went back to wading. I am thinking about seeing how many of you guys would like together some day and just fish the Yough....let me know what you think.

Don't fish the yough much--I am a lake angler 99.999% of the time. But I may be up for a get-together. I catch plenty of trout and panfish, but the walleyes sound real interesting.

Smallhook took that pic a couple of weeks ago and that was a small walleye, the 2 in the pics I caught were 21" and 22" long. Those pics were off my cell phone. And they were caught in different locations on the Yough as well.

Sounds great! I live in Ruffsdale, and frequent the yough in west newton as i used to live there and know it some, but when the wife saw the chance for some walleye fishing thats closer than pymatuning well her ears perked up.lol I have met mossy before and would very much like to get together so look me up. Made the trip to erie twice now the last 2 weeks and havent had much success there either it is gettin real bad water is like 4-6 foot lower than usual,unbelievable

Doug I will be in Tionesta all weekend hunting Saturday and fishing Sunday. I found 2 big Brownies last weekend. I think they both need to be caught. I want to get some fishing in soon with everyone. I will be in contact with you. Pm sent also.
