That little piece of wood you got would be called a splinter....

that's an honest living i will say. i have a kubota tractor and a john deere 350 dozer so i do my own clearing when necessary... about 8 years had a logger come and do a selective cut of some 100 year old cherries, oaks and pines... trees to make a loggers mouth water...

Hey Dime-
You know I checked out that other thing and had a little fun with it but please tell me- was that a put on or do they really use multiple ( more than 2) flies on a single line. I know about droppers but these numbers went way beyond that.
You know I dont do that much pure fly fishing but if I tried to put on 4 to  8 hooked worms at a time they'd pinch me for running a trot line- ( I know "our river" is a single hook place only)
Last time i even heard of such a thing being legal was salt water guys who liked umbrella rigs for blues.
Personally I wouldnt do it even if it was legal-just not my cup of tea/different strokes

definitely a put on retired... my first question was is it legal... the one snob first mentioned four flies, which i've heard of before with that moffit system, so i asked, then their whole clique gets hard ons together and then you saw what happened. over there, there are some guys who really want to discuss fishing, but others who think their way is the only way and if you mention one method you might practice, they then label you for it... a lot of elitist, arrogant snobby going on over there...

for some reaosn they let that one go... 3 flies is legal though in PA, or hooks with bait of any nature, so you see what i mean, there were serious guys in there and then a whole lot of BS... i feel bad for the guy started the thread...

dime, i wish i could quote all of your posts, but **** man, let it go... those dudes played you good, and you're now over here whining about it.  they win...

ps.. the majority of those who are packing 14 ft in the pa section aren't fishing in erie haha.

you seem like a good dude, and I understand you have a family now, but every so often, it doesn't hurt to indulge yourself with a little indica & sativa.

pm's welcome... maybe we can fish some 6 foot 2 wts together

Hey joe... my smallest rod is a 3-7'9" sage rplx. Is that small enough?
I really shouldn't be replying to your other statement... but this guys didn't win. No one did. I feel bad for the guy who started the thread and any others who were maybe reading to learn. I myself don't use indicators, but I myself also don't snub people for using them as many "purists" do. You seem respectable though, but pleease, let's drop this...
Ps... I was not whining in here about it, I was sarcastically joking with kokanee, and then responding to a comment retired guy posted towards me. But like said let's drop it...
For the greens, no comment....
Wellcome to the board
