If you smash your car to get a set of antlers, you deserve to keep them. Got to have something cause that person" aint got no brains".

Around here we have a lot of large trucks and jeeps equipped with heavy duty home made pipe and steel bumpers and grill guards. They can and do hit deer with absolutely no damage their vehicles. Several have been observed intentionally running down deer and some just for the large set of antlers the buck was wearing.

There are have been men on the moon too, that don't make it a common occurance. Besides, the PGC wants every almost every dear dead, sells boatloads of tags, has an open season 1/3 of the year, and allows every weapon to be used. What's wrong with a truck?

Proposed car season for deer. Engine must be at least 2.0 liter. Bumpers can be no higher than 32 inches from the ground. The limit is 1 deer per week with no more than 2 bucks in any 60 day period; of which only 1 buck can be in the trophy class ,score 140 or better, and you are restricted to within 22 yards of the right of way of a roadway. Cost is 10.00 per tag and may be purchased at any county courthouse. Tags MUST be purchased prior to any road hunting. This is only a proposal and any possible additional regulations will be considered...WF

Can headlights be upgraded to aftermarket products?...Assuming we can hunt at night.
Will the under 2L have their own season during the rut?
Will trucks with antique plates have their own season after Christmas?
Can we use our trucks on deer drives?
What about the counties without many roads?...will their season be lengthened?
Will there be a mentored hunt for kids without drivers licenses?
Can I use my back bumper? That will shorten my drag.
What about elk and bear?

Heck yea! RSB implied it, Outdoor Adventures called him on it, and you defended RSB.

BTW, no apologies offered. If you don't understand what your writing at least go back and delete it before asking for an apology.

I'd be willing to bet it is more common(used to be?) in his neck of the woods.

Why are some of you so miserable and negative?

Actually it is you who is full of it.

I have watched guys with their trucks out in fields chasing deer and intentionally running them down several times. I have also arrested several people after citizen reports where they had watched guys with jacked up trucks or Jeeps go clear across into the opposite lane of trail to run down a deer. It seems those deer they run down are always a nice buck. Now why do you suppose they would do that?

I'm curious what was bail set at for these guys? I'm guessing they were charged with game code violations, as well as motor vehicle code violations?

"Now why do you suppose they would do that?"

Dropped on their head when they were young?

Chemical imbalance?

Brother and sister parents?

Same people that say "Hold my beer and watch this?"

The poster formally known as Duncsdad

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

For some reason I have a hard time believing that folks running down deer to get some meat or a set of antlers is rampant enough to justify enacting a law specificaly to address the issue.

In response to the posed questions...After market head lights are approved..2 liter engines DO NOT provide suitable stopping power for the hunt....Trucks with antique plates and after Christmas season, moved to next session..Deer drives with trucks, see 22 yard rule...Mentored hunts , moved to next session... Rear bumper use is approved... Finally, no elk or bear season[ unless we need the money]... Any new questions or comments should be presented soon to be in time for the next session.

What's the limit?  My freezer holds 6.
Do I need to clean the first one off the road before I take a second?
Should I sell my camp?
If my Chebby knocks off the horns, can I use my doe tag?
Can I put estrous **** in my carb?
Do all the riders in my truck have to have licenses with unfilled tags?
Can we drink beer while we're guttin'?
Can we guide others? (I got AAA maps)

Again in response... The limit is now 6...No... How much you askin for the camp?? ...1 tag for either sex...Deer scents are moved to the next session...Only the driver, properly licensed, can run over a deer, again provided he purchased the tags in advance.....Of course beer is permitted and is recommended.... and finally, no guiding is permitted without proper insuance coverages, such insurance proof must me produced on demand by the WCO...
