lighted noks

Has anyone had any experience with lume nok or anyother brand lighted noks. I am thinking about using them on my Excalibur crossbow bolts.

My neighbor showed me the tracer noc and I love them the difference betweeen them and lumenok is tracer lights up after the arrow leaves the bow lumenoc lights up when the string pushes the arrow or bolt I have no complaint against lumenoc just my neighbor taught me pretty much everything I know about bow hunting and shooting so I went with what he said to use and they work for me

I have them on my crossbow bolts but have not shot anything other than targets as of yet.  Only complaint that I have is, I have to use a pair of plyers to pull the at the nock to shut them off.  I can't just pull at them with my fingers to shut off.   I just wrapped the plyers  in black tape as not damage the nocks.  Seems to work well.

I originally bought them because we were filming our hunts and it makes the shot look so much better on film, I have never had any trouble backing them out with just my fingers, but different brands of arrows and different nocks im sure fit differently. Ive had them light up every single time i shot, I'd try the tracers its just a different way of activating them. only drawback is the price, thats right but hey this aint a cheap activity to begin with haha

nocks ive been using are nockturnal.  never had a problem shooting at a target and only used them once on a deer, and they worked out well.

Lumenocks work well in dad's x-bow, he loves them. I used the lumenock, then the easton tracers in my vertical equipment, like the lumenocks MUCH better the tracers were a pain to activate then deactivate every day.

Went to a new brand this year, that I really like, they have a button buried in the nock and a hole in the side where you insert something to flip the switch off when you retrieve it. Much nicer.

Lumenocks, hands down over the tracers though....

Better too far back, than too far forward.

musky the ones u are talking about are the same ones i use.  personally i think they are the best. only thing is first time i shot them i didn't have broadheads or a knife so i had to wait till i got home to turn them off.

I used a luma  nock this year and have no complaints at all. The arrow entered at a sharp angle hitting the liver and a lung.  The arrow stayed in the deer with about 3 inches sticking out.  Nock lighted up and I saw the deer run about 100 yards and bed down and could see the light from my stand.   Unreal was the easiest deer I ever tracked.  I am not sure if it would be worth it if you blow through the deer  , but I guess it would make it easier to find your arrow.

I think the Easton Tracer's are junk.Lume-nock are ok but have fragile contacts. G5 seem ok. Firenock would be my #1 choice.

Cousin has the ones that turn on when they pass a magnet I believe. He likes them much better than the ones the string turns on.
