MOCK SCRAPES

I checked a camera saturday morning after i was done hunting.I had 11 different bucks hit this same branch the biggest be a 16 inch 8 point with good tines at 5:56 am twenty minutes before i got thereI see code blue sells this stuff called grave digger.I was thinking about making a mock scrape by this one to see what happens. Is it to early to try this?

chicken i was out yesterday pulling my stands and saw 5 diff scrapes that i didnt see last week when i got my buck so i think things are starting to heat up alittle but with this warm weather we are starting to get might turn them off only thing i can say is that there is always one buck that starts it and the rest follow so you might want to try it and put ur cam close by it and see what happens

i found one finally yesterday pretty big scrape actually about 6 foot around. i'm assuming its a bigger deer since a tree about 6inchs in diameter got "tickled" right by it. I'm not totally excited about it cuz i know he made it and may possibly never go back to check it although i could be wrong.

The heat doesnt turn them off really. i can remember a rut happening in 60-70 degrees one year..they still chased and made rubs and scrapes. the only thing the heat does do, is slow some movement down. doesnt slow their sex drive. And just makes us think "its too hot".

once they start rutten the heat doesnt turn them off. they will just keep runnen at nite. 90% of scrapes you find are getten hit at nite. especially the ones around fields.

This one and the licking branch above it must have been hit during the night, I saw it as I left the truck this morning at 6:30am and know nothing was there after I arrived, I took the picture as I was leaving..
