lost tip

I went to take my STCROIX legend ultra 7'6" 3 wt out of it case today, and no tip came out. Almost had the big one . I have no idea where or when I used it last . Looked in all my case's thinking or hopeing I may have put in another one by mistake. No luck, so if anyone happened to pick up a dark green tip with black single foot guides this year I would really like to hear from you . Probably in McKean County or maybe EB Clarion.

There will be days when fishing is better than ones optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

I paid about that for a tip on my Okuma noodle rod-should of bought a new rod it did not fit right.
Lamiglas wanted around $60 +shipping both ways to replace my broken tip.
At least this way I have hope the ends will fit tight.
Male end splintered and I cut a little off and glued it for now.
Not sure if I like that rod because of the sliding reel seats and it is a lot longer than I like.
Good feature is any reel can be balanced though.

Believe it or not I found it !! It was stuck in the case even after I put the bottom section all the way in the case hopeing to catch it on a guide. I put the cap on and tapped on the ground hopeing it would fall out but it didn't. I put my fingers in the case as far as I could, nothing. I did all of these things a number of times still nothing. A couple of days later I tried one last time I put the bottom section in and I heard a click darn if it didn't pull it out. Talk about relief.

In reply to Mikastorm, never fished in Mercer Co. that I can remember of. I've fished a lot of places in Pa. mostly Potter, Elk,Cameron, Clinton, Erie and Center.

I believe it, because I've had the same experience many times.
