    and thats why you need more than 1 pump not just that he was in a open bow been there done that heck even my 16ft has 2pumps but crapy day ending good to see there ok just pride hurt now comes the bill ouch 10 mile tow bill estimate 1700 bucks

    Hard to tell what happened, but it seems that alot of people don't know that if you catch it when the water is coming over the floor you can pull the plug and run to siphon the water out. Easier with an outboard as the motor sits higher and the plug is often more accessible. I can remember with our old wooden Cris Craft we used to have to spend the better part of the first day on the water running with the plug out, till the planks swelled enough to make it water tight. Glad to hear everyone was OK...
